It depends on the type of site, the functionality, and any upgrades. The typical structure is a one-time setup fee plus a monthly plan for hosting, maintenance, and support. For public agencies and grant-funded projects we can also bill setup and the first year as a single line item. Initial review versions are typically ready within 1 to 4 weeks, depending on your needs and the complexity of the build. Expedited delivery is available for an additional fee.

Yes, if your site includes the editing dashboard. The editable site and every public agency site come with it. The essential site does not, so changes to it go through us. During development you comment directly on the site as it takes shape. At launch we train your team to manage content themselves, including events, calendars, photos, and documents, so you are never stuck waiting on a third party. Your monthly plan also includes revision time from us: 1 hour each month on the basic plan, 2 hours on the standard and concierge plans.

WordPress is a fine tool, but even a straightforward site often ends up a square peg in a round hole: close to what you wanted, not exactly. We build yours exactly how you want it, usually for less. There's no plugin maintenance either, which is most of what a WordPress plan bills for, and no plugin vulnerabilities, which are the most common way small business sites get hacked. Plugins also run out. When you need booking, a portal, or a connection to software you already use, we build it instead of hunting for an add-on that almost fits.

Yes, by one year. In April 2026 the Department of Justice extended both compliance dates under the ADA Title II web rule. Public entities with a population of 50,000 or more now have until April 26, 2027. Smaller entities and all special district governments now have until April 26, 2028. Nothing else changed: the standard is still WCAG 2.1 Level AA, and it still covers websites, mobile apps, and the documents posted on them. Most towns and villages in this region fall under the 2028 date, and the larger counties under 2027. Migrating content, getting board approval, and running procurement can easily fill the runway that is left.

More organizations than most people expect, not just municipalities. State and local governments are covered under ADA Title II, which now has firm compliance dates. Businesses open to the public are covered under ADA Title III, where demand letters over inaccessible websites are common. Nonprofits that offer services to the public are covered too, and nonprofits that receive federal funding also fall under Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, which carries its own compliance dates in 2027 and 2028.
